Tanya
K. Bozeman is the Administrator/QMRP for two community homes in Louisiana.
Prior to owning an ICF/MR facility, Ms. Bozeman worked in state ICF/MR
facilities as well as the public school system. She founded Seasons
Inc., a nonprofit organization in 1989.
In 1992 she began to develop a database system to replace the frustrating
hand written system that she employed to maintain the paperwork
required to meet governmental regulations. The focus was to develop
an information management system which would allow
for more time to teach the individuals she served and would require
less time to complete regulation paperwork. This information
management tool is now called QMRP TaskMaster.
Software Making a Difference was founded in 1993 with the sole purpose
of greatly improving the service delivery systems in ICF/MR/DD/MI facilities.
We believe that by enhancing the delivery and documentation of Active
Treatment, we are effecting the quality of life of disabled persons.
To accomplish this goal, the team at Software Making a Difference has
worked side by side with health care providers within facilities throughout
the United States. Our customers include 4 bed ICF/MR facilities as
well as state facilities which serve over 1,000 individuals.
Over the years, Ms. Bozeman has become a specialist in assisting facilities
to revamp their methods of Program Planning & Active Treatment documentation.
She has built a team of QMRP consultants that are available to provide
on-site seminars and quality assurance audits for ICF/MR facilities.
The QMRP Network was developed in 1994 to provide an avenue for QMRPs
and other health care providers to share ideas and concerns. We will
continue to enhance this avenue of communication in the future.
In the face of our changing health care system, we intend to be here
to assist our customers to save time and money by streamlining the information
needed to provide quality services to disabled persons.
